Late yesterday I arrived in Grand Rapids, USA, for a sales conference. I was tired after a long journey, so I was disappointed to find that the room allocated was not as I had reserved.
To cut a long story short, this ‘hiccup’ took almost 24 hours to sort out. However, the duty manager, Korey, made a lot of effort to sort things out to my satisfaction. And when they had been, he sent a note apologising for the inconvenience up to my room with a cheese plate.
The result is one happy visitor.
